We are in Paris. It is not our first trip to Paris, so we are re-visiting old favourites, almost like meeting old friends.
It is early autumn in Paris. The Jardin du Luxembourg looks like a picture: blue sky reflecting in the water, gold and red leaves of trees highlighting the warm gold of the Luxembourg palace.
Pont Alexandre III is still the most ornate and extravagant bridge in Paris.
I’m drawing sketch after sketch (Paris does that to me ;-) ) Wings are everywhere: paintings, pictures, sculptures, stained glass…..
